Tournament Rules

This event is for players entering the 6th, 7th or 8th grade. Players of either gender may participate. Teams may only have a maximum of 4 players.

- The initial possession is given to the team who wins a pregame coin flip.

- Games will be decided by (1) 15 minute period in a half court setting. The clock will be running the entire time.  After the 15 minute period, teams play to a target score determined by adding five points to the leading team's score. The first team to reach the target score wins. YOU MUST WIN BY TWO OR MORE.

- Players will have to "take it back" behind the three point line after defensive rebounds that hit the rim. If the ball doesn't hit the rim, it may be scored immediately by the opposing team.

- Score is kept by 1’s and 2’s and bonus free throws are awarded once a team commits their fourth (4) team foul. Shooting fouls/Bonus FT's will receive one attempt for one point. "And one's" will also get one free throw attempt for one point.

- Possessions will alternate. There is no make it, take it.
